English Language Arts (ELA)

 PreK- Adult, 1 to 1 and Small Group

Reading, Writing, Processing
Tutoring sessions are tailored to meet each student's need. The area of struggle is identified and a corresponding individualized plan is created to help the student strengthen his/her language skills. The exercises are designed to help the student improve one skill at a time and reach grade-level performance. 
Some common areas of tutoring may include: Reading Literacy, Auditory Discrimination, Listening/Following Instructions, Increasing Vocabulary, Paragraph/Sentence Expansion, Grammar, Punctuation, Reading Fluency, Reading Comprehension, and Writing (pennmanship and writing styles). 

Mathematics

 Pre-k-5th Grade, 1 to 1 and Small Group
 
Elementary Math
Students are taught to process and to use mathematical operations one skill at a time. Through simplified practice, students move through different skills and their levels of mastery until a solid foundation is established.  

Lower and Upper Level Math Intervention
Is your student a few years behind in Math? That is not a problem. We would be happy to work with him/her to identify and strengthen areas of weakness and to attain grade-level performance.

Pronunciation Coaching
Accents are beautiful and in no way does Ms. Veronica wish the world to sound the same; however, there are some sounds in English that are not in other languages and, if not produced properly, they can affect and change the meaning of your message. This is where this class can be of great benefit to you. Ms. Veronica teaches the science behind these sounds and creates a plan specific to your needs that will help you achieve mastery of these sounds in everyday conversations. 

Spanish Classes

PreK - Adult, 1 to 1 and Small Group

Spanish Classes/Immersion
Through hands-on activities, games, and songs, students are exposed to the Spanish language and are encouraged to put it into practice. The classes are student-centered and can range from basic to advanced levels. 

Spanish Tutoring
Tutoring Sessions are designed to assist students who are already taking a Spanish Course and are seeking additional practice or a more in depth explanation of their Spanish lesson. 

 English Classes
(ESOL/ELL/ESL)

 PreK- Adult, 1 to 1 and Small Group

Clases de Ingles/English Classes
Learn to process and speak English from basic to advanced levels. Ms. V helps students perfect their English skills by teaching on all areas of language. 

Through observation/evaluations, the student's area of strength and of struggle is identified and lessons are created and customized to meet the student's individual needs.
